Site Security...
I want to let members know that members of the "SBF Team" and, in particular, those responsible for the site running smoothly have taken it upon themselves to make sure that the site is now safe and secure. If you look in the upper left hand corner of the http website of Scrapbookflair & Scrapbooks Please you will see it was taken care of.

It was more difficult than anticipated and took longer than anticipated but now you can feel more at ease and continue to be active members, and not to worry about site safety and security. :-) Keep up your great scrapping!!!

Yes Madeline I have just noticed that. Something about Images not being secure. So not a total secure site yet. Still progress.

I just checked mine yesterday and today after last night's conference meeting re: site security. Mine shows a black padlock and when I click on it it says that the "Connection is secure." And that "Your information (passwords, credit card information, etc.) is private when it is sent to this site." However, now looking at the main page it shows & says When going to the MAIN PAGE... I also see a circle with a lowercase i in the middle of it. And when I click on that it says, in red, "Your connection to this site is not fully secure." Attackers might be able to see the images you're looking at on this site and trick you by modifying them."

I will follow up with this. Thank you for letting me know! I don't know if it is a browser issue or what.

Lori, I am logged into SBF and no matter which area of the site I navigate to, they all show as "connection is not secure" at the top. The lock symbol has an orange exclamation point next to it. I use mozilla firefox as my brower, not sure if that has any impact.

I use Google Chrome and I am seeing the forums, downloads, marketplace as secure on my PC but other tabs (the homepage, my homepage) are not secure. It, therefore, is not security on everything on my PC using Google Chrome Chrome.

Thank you all about which browsers you use and I have notified the proper persons (programmers) to take a look at this specific forum topic so they can work on it.

Oh, thank goodness.....and a huge THANK YOU to everyone concerned in sorting out these problems. I've had some problems for a while but AT LAST (fingers crossed) we are all back on track and I can return to the one creative outlet that I've stuck with since 2007 and thought that I was losing...! Such a relief for someone like me who lives alone and doesn't go out much. XXX

Be assured that the "SBF Team" is still continuing to work on the issues that have been popping up lately causing emotional and physical insecurity. I had a problem myself uploading a page although I think it is a file size (from the error message I got) that is the problem. Keep posted & always let us know if you are having problems.
