Using Masks
I am just getting back into digital scrapbooking after a few years away from it. I have made a layout for one of the challenges but will be unable to post it because for the life of me I can't get get my mask to work !!!! I have followed a couple of tuts I found on the internet but they just didn't work for me. Believe me for almost two days I have tried but I just can't get the image to show through the mask...don't know what I'm doing wrong...I have used masks before when I was scrapbooking and can't remember ever having this problem. Oh well one thing is for sure I am not going to let it beat me LOL I may not figure it out in time to enter the challenge but I'll get there. Just wondered if anyone had any solutions or ideas....PLEASE HELP. !!!!!!

If its any help Barbara - I cant get my head around layers in Craft artist 2 so I ended up making my own masks. Google 'scrapbook masks' found a load I could extract in Paint.net and saved them in a personal masks folder.. Have a look a some of my Alpha challenge pages to see how they look like after extraction xx Madeline

I am having the same problem Maureen with Craft Artist 2. Several people have tried to help me & I am slowly getting the hang of it from masks I somehow found quite a long time ago & some that a member sent to me. One thing I found out that it is essential with Craft Artist 2 -- any image or photo NEEDS TO BE on the left IN the PHOTOS tab & put the mask onto the page FIRST. Then go to the photos tab & drag the photo or image into the mask. If it doesn't fit into the mask then in the lower right hand or left hand corner of any mask you will see a place to click on selecting the image & by clicking on it been try to move the image around in the mask it helps.

Back in September I think it was I found the perfect tutorial on YouTube for Craft Artist 2 on making your own mask or using a mask you already have. My dexterity does not allow me to make my own masks so the 2nd part of the tutorial explains how easily it can be done if you have a mask. Now it doesn't work for me! ~Lori XXX
