kevin`s health issues
For awhile Kevin has been complaining about stomach pain and throwing up. Check ups and tests in America didn`t bring any answer. When he just came to the Netherlands it seemed like the complains were a little lesser, but for the passed 3 months it came back. The 1st visit to the doctor didn`t give an answer too. On Easter he was so sick that although our own familydoctor was on vacation I decided to go see an other doctor with him. This doctor told us he has a lot of experience with food intolerances in his family and he thought that the way he saw Kevin his issues must be cost by multiple intolances. As a todler he was diagnosed with lactose intolerance, but there was told us that he will overgrow it, so in the States they never even checked that. The doctor we saw 2 days ago send us straight to a dietist and it seems that instead of overgrowing the lactose intolerance he also developed a wheat intolerance. So apart from going for check ups, bloodtests etc I`m spending a lot time to find the food that he is able to eat. I already know now that most of his food I have to prepare myself, but even to get the ingredients that is needed for that takes a lot of time going from 1 shop to another. And it`s all so expensive, I wonder why healthy foods have to cost so much more than other stuff and why do MacDonalds, KFC and other fastfoodchains don`t have anything at all for people who suffer for these intolerances
