I tried it again and my computer says, Find an alternate path to folder containing installion package? I don't what this means?

I have been trying to download Paint.net on my new laptop, but a lot of the sites download anything but that, even changing my home page! Hope someone knows where we can download it.

Go to this link to download current version of paint.net v3.5.1:

1. go to/paste in browser: http://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html (& click - download paint.net v3.5.1. located on the upper right side of page)

2. Allow download of file to your download folder or desktop

3. Unzip & install as normal

This link is safe & only provides the actual paint.net program. You will not get unwanted downloader, toolbar junk, changing of home etc packed in with some of those other sites put in. Also, had no problem installing in the Windows 8 environment.

I hadn't yet downloaded Paint.net to my laptop with Windows8.1 but thanks to you Mimi now I have. Had to download Zip-7 first though. Thank you so much.

I just wish Paint.net was available for Mac...I really missing using it

I have had Paint.net for a while on my previous pc but had to reload windows and haven't got round to downloading it again but I think you have encouraged me to do so. I also had I think it was the Michaelangelo plugin effects to go with it.
