All,
Here are the instructions from support to install the software with Windows 7.
If you are having trouble installing the Scrapbook Flair Software on Windows 7, please install the following packages.
1. Download Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable Package dotnetfx.exe
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-8157-034d1e7CF3A3&display=en&displaylang=en
2. Download Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=33 Make sure that the file is renamed and saved asdotnetfxsp1.exe , so that the rest of the steps can be followed easily.
3. Make a note where you have saved the files so you can pull up the file to install the software.

For FireFox, after the downloading has finished, you will see a browser window listing all downloaded files. Right click the file just downloaded and select Open Containing Folder and you will see the downloaded file shown in the Windows Explorer window.
For Google Chrome, there will be a file icon displayed at the bottom of the window. Right click on the file icon and select Show in Folder and you will see the file in the Windows Explorer window.
4. Right click on dotnetfx.exe and select run as administrator, then follow the screen instructions to finish the installation.
5. Right click on asdotnetfxsp1.exe and select run as administrator, then follow the screen instructions to finish the installation.
6. Install Scrapbook Flair Software or start Scrapbook Flair Software if you have installed the software successfully.
Once you install these packages, you should be able to install the Software.

many people use other software, I use photoshope and paintnet. You can upload your pages from your homepage by clicking upload and follow the directions there. You can also save your page as jpeg or png and upload through the SBF software by clicking share and follow the directions. Wish you a lot of scrapping fun here on SBF

for other members kit go to marketplace on top of this page. You can find a lot of freebies there that you can download from the posters blogs and websites. And what a lot of people do, they look at others pages what they have used in the credits section

I found this explanation about ptf on google Session file format used by Pro Tools 7.0 and later; includes audio, MIDI, and software instrument tracks; also includes audio effects, automations, and project settings; contains references to audio recordings, but does not store the actual audio data within the file.
PTF files are cross-platform, meaning they can be opened on both Windows and Macintosh computers. However they are not backwards compatible with previous versions of Pro Tools.

The best you can do is google on free extractor for ptf files, so that you can open it.

Neeltje,
The ptf files are specific to the Scrapbook Flair software. If you would like to use the templates with other software programs, you will need to order the psd or png files available as speed downloads in the download section.
