Hi Tessie, my husband has had type 2 diabetes for a number of years. He watches his sugar intake, takes medication and checks his own blood sugar. Other than that life goes on as normal. Exercise and diet does a big part in controlling the disease. Make sure your daughter follows doctor's orders and recommendations. Huggggs.
