The software does support Vista. Quite a few people do have it on their Vista machines and use it without problems. Follow the download and installation info and you should be ok. I will get you more detailed info ......

Hello. You might try downloading and installing the Microsoft Framework first. You can get it here:

Then download and install the Service Pack 1 for the Framework. You can get that here:

I would then restart your computer and install the SBF software.

This is what I did, and the software works fine for me on my Vista computer. I did get a couple errors regarding the fact it could be incompatible but I clicked those errors off.....(I believe there were 2. The software seems to work ok now. I did not have to change the compatibility factor.

I am completely new with Scrapbook Flair and I can not downloaded it on my Windows Vista. I've tried to download the treatment that is recommended down here but still the error message.
Error message says; Process ID = 0x390 (912) and thread-id = 0xbb4 (2996).
Some who know what is wrong?

Hi snehvit.....First you must download and install the Microsoft Framework.Net 1.1, then download and install the Service Pack 1 for the Framework. Then reboot your computer and proceed to install Scrapbook Flair software. I received one Error message regarding incompatibility, I clicked for it to install anyways, and it installed and works fine. So give that a try . Hope this helps you. If you still have trouble I suggest you contact support.

I also have Vista and had no problem downloading the software. My problem is that I cannot download anything offered on Scrapbook Flair. The download stops midway and that's it, no layout page for me. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. I've tried to click "open" and also "save", but neither works for me.

Hi Greyhound Mom. You should click SAVE on the box that comes up when downloading. I then save to a folder in My Documents. Then browse from within the software for the materials. I do the same in both VISTA and XP. If your download stops midway, it sounds like you might have a problem with your security settings for IE, so you might check that out. Good Luck!! Maggie

I also have had problems with SF on Vista. I'll continually save, leave the program and when I want to reopen a saved layout, there will be extra white boxes to add images & embellishments. I'll try to delete them but sometimes a white box will stay on the page. So I then drag it off the page. Sometimes that works but not always. I also had a BIG problem with a template I had downloaded-got it all done; saved it & uploaded it as a JPG and half of the embellishments were gone! Spent a lot of time and very frustrated with SF!
