SURREAL
"Surreal" - adjective; meaning having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream; unreal; fantastic. Make scraps that are surrealistic, dreamlike, phantasmagoric! Bear in mind that surreal art features an element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur. It is not influenced by reason.
Note: If you're not familiar with surreal art, do some reading on surrealism. One of the most famous surreal art is Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" featuring a melting watch. Challenge icon shows my own attempt at surreal art using manipulated images.
Challenge Requirements:
1. It can be a surreal scrap of your own painting, photo or artwork; OR
2. You may scrap an existing surreal art by someone else but you must blend in some other image to alter the original, thereby making it your own adaptation.
3. In the credits section or page description, you must mention which part of the composed image is yours and which is by someone else - please give credits to the artists whose work you're using.
4. The layout should include a short, catchy title. The title should be made part of the art.
