Celebrating Jim Henson
May 16, 1990.... many people don't know what this date is. But kids, parents, teachers, child care workers, and many others know it. This was the day we lost a great teacher. He was great friend to our children and a master storyteller.
When I first thought up this challenge (a whole 20 minutes ago) I was just gonna have Muppet pages.... but Jim did so much! So the challenge is going to include anything Jim Henson did... Muppets, Sesame Street, Dark Crystal, etc.
So... I want this challenge to be this... did Jim Henson teach you anything? Maybe it was that "'C' is for Cookie", or how to count with the Count, or maybe it was something more... maybe it was that we are all in this world together and should learn how to work together. (or how to annoy your brother... mine hated the "Manna Mann" song... I LOVED it and sang it ALOT as a kid. hehe)
Challenge Requirements:
So here are the requirements...
1. Must include characters from one or more of Jim Henson's creations.
2. MUST include a personal letter to Jim, telling him what you learned from him, or anything else you'd want to tell him.
3. Can include pictures of Jim Henson but doesn't have to.
I don't usually do sad/sappy challenges but I'd love to see what people come up with.
