RAK photos

This question came up in a recent challenge as to whether an RAK photo is a personal photo or not. I thought about this and for my challenges, when I say personal photo only that excludes RAK photos. The reason most of my challenges require personal photos only is because scrapbooking originated for people to scrap their photos…I know, I know that may be an "old-fashioned" notion, but I am trying to get everyone taking photos. Digital cameras are fairly inexpensive and all come with cables to download directly to our computers, so the cost of film, photo developing and scanners is no longer necessary. So, from this point forward if I state personal photos only, it needs to be personal photos only, which means no photos from friends or family either. I certainly hope this doesn't upset anyone and I equally hope this doesn't exclude anyone. If it starts to exclude SBF members, please let me know and I may reconsider. Dawn

update to above statement. I have decided not to take such a hard line. For some of my challenges that require personal photos I will okay RAK photos as well as photos taken be family and friends, on other challenge requiring personal photos it will be limited to only photos that you take personally.

For this challenge, no RAK photos, only photos you have taken personally.

That means you can`t post a page where you are in the photo?

if it is a selfie photo that you took while holding the camera and pointing it at yourself, yes you can post a page with this type of photo of yourself. If it is a photo someone else took of you, no you can not use that type of photo. You actually have to have taken the photo yourself
