Words cut into the photo and words cut from the photo

I am seeing some pages that the word(s) are not cut into the photo as I have asked. Merely cutting a word out of the photo and placing it back on top of the photo is not what this challenge is about. There shouldn't be any space between the photo and the part of the letters that are touching the pic, and there should be any overlap. I hate to be picky, but this is a very specific technique that I really wanted everyone to learn. I hate to send private messages asking for pages to be removed because I know everyone works very hard in creating their scraps. I know a few ladies struggled to learn this technique, but they did. I am frankly still trying to figure out what is fair.

I totally cannot remember how to do this lol. It's been a couple of years but I can't remember what it's called and I have just looked at pages and pages of photoshop guides and can't find exactly what I want. What the heck is the technique called? Anyone HELP?? lol

Kez, what a lot of people are doing with photoshop is creating a blank square about the size of your photo or smaller. Then add your letters in a big type size (many use Ariel). After that, combine it with your square and make it one layer. Then place your image on top of the layer and clip it (maybe not the exact wording) to your square/name frame.
Hope this helps, Susan

Send an e-mail to all the participants would be my suggestion, and then simply remove the pages that don't qualify. I've seen a few myself and, not that I'm familiar with this technique, it is fairly simple.
