PNG.FILE

I'm a novice at best when it comes to computers.

I have seen a PNG.file and know how to change it from a dropdown box.

So before I upload a completed page I need to convert the page to a PNG.file for other people to use?

(If so this is something I had not previously been aware of.)

Thanks

Yes. When you have finished the page instead of saving it as a .jpg, save it as a .png. This way people can use it with their own picture and the hole for the picture will be open instead of black!

Thanks a lot. I wondered about that. I thought that might be the reason. Now I know.

So then, on the flipside of the coin - if I recieve a page that is a JPG page I should be able to change the page to a PNG file and achieve the same effect?

Now that I know I will resubmit my page for it does appear as a JPG file curently

Thanks again

I think I saved the page as a PNG, how do I check that this is a PNF file.?

Also, my frame is really just a couple of backgrounds put together, so how would I create a real frame that a picture will "jump" into.

You have to erase the center of the picture so it is a hole in the page.
