It is the challenge owner's responsibility to set the voting dates, they do not default to match the challenge dates. So, in this case, the challenge owner set the challenge dates but did not set the voting dates, thus the early voting ending date.

I'm pretty sure he didn't know (like the rest of us challenge owners that are trying to adjust to the new rules flair has for us) so I"m thinking he didn't know about the 'default'. Try to be understanding. Thank you much.
