Scrap a photo or photos using only raw materials you can see at your home.

I think that is pretty clear. No embellishments, only extractions we do from pictures we have taken or things we scan into our computer. That's how I read the rules. I would assume text is okay, since you don't really see "text" laying around your house. However, we all own magazines!
