Art Master further defined... Page removal

I don't know all the artists featured here, but I will remove scraps that don't feature the work of someone who has achieved a real art master stature. From the page description, you will note that I included as examples only master artists who have influenced the history and movement of art - they're usually dead. :) I will do some research, however, and consult someone with more knowledge of art before I remove any scrap. I will do this before the challenge ends. However, if you do know that the artist you featured is not a real art master yet, I'd be grateful if you remove your scraps. Thanks, Kate

Some questions to ask yourself when making a choice of which artist to scrap for this challenge:
1) does the artist have a real masterpiece work of historical art significance?
2) is he/she universally acknowledged as an art master in the history of art or art movements like the renaissance, baroque, impressionism, etc.?
3) has the artist achieved the same stature as the likes of botticelli, michaelangelo, degas, dali, etc.?
Similarly, in music, although there are many great musicians and composers, not many have achieved the same stature as bach, mozart, bethoven, verdi, etc. We are looking for art masters of this stature.
I hope this clarifies.
Thanks,
Kate

I will try my best to comment on scraps as soon as possible. If I've commented on a scrap or featured it in the Challenge Owner's Choice box, it is definitely a qualified entry. My final challenge owner's choice, as usual, will be made in the end from among those who didn't win 1st or 2nd place.
