Philippines has been known to have the longest Christmas. Decors/trees could be up as early as October, celebrations could last till 1st half of January. But looking at the lights and decors around me this year makes me a bit sad, Christmas seems a lot subdued this year, probably because of the tragedies that have hit us. Yet, what really makes Christmas? Not those lights, decors, carols, gifts, symbols - take those away and what's inside is the light and love that radiates and shines outside, making it Christmas; It is the Christmas spirit that made those symbols, not the other way around!
