Blending in Photoscape is simple but only works for 2 types of blending.

Blending two images of the same size or blending in an extracted image or png embellishment, otherwise you get hard lines.

Open you background then add your new layer that you want to blend. (Select object tab then click on the picture icon, select the pic you want to add) You will see an opacity slide appear. By sliding this it will slowly make your added image transparent. Just stop when you're happy with the blend.

The method is exactly the same for a extracted png pic or embellishment.

I use my program Microsoft digital Imaging mostly and it allows me to do many effects, one of which is blending. I love using these effects.
