Author gypsykate says: if your still life subject is a personal photo, your background should be digital art. some people do use photos as base in creating digital art but the outcome should look like digital artwork and not a manipulated photo and in that way should contrast with your still life photo. this could be a question of degrees - is it digitalized enough, is there enough difference? so again, i didn't remove any scrap based on this coz it could be a matter of opinion, as long as i see a clear attempt to keep one a photo and the other a digital art. thanks-kate Nov 2, 2009
