And I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I thought the photos were supposed to be altered in some way, not just cropped and put in a frame.

"altered in some way. By this I been things like adding a filter, making it 'glow', pencil sketches, etc... I ask that you refrain from posting pages which use effects already highlighted in other technique challenges (extraction & oob, blending, b&w, vintage/sepia - you may use these technqiues on your photos in this challenge but there should also be an obvious second alteration)."

I know I'm pretty knew to this and I would LOVE to learn some new techniques as well, but some of these scrapbooks don't look ANY different at all. If there is a specific alteration technique I'm missing here could you please fill me in?

You are completely right Gerry...I had noticed that too..me, I took my photo and used like 3 different filters and changed colors of it just to be sure it was "altered"...LOL!!!

I'm sorry that I did not see this and respond sooner... it's really difficult for me to keep on top of some of these challenges with so many entries... I do see your point and agree that some of the pages here and not what I had in mind, if at the end of the challenge, the pages in the top spots are not approriate I will remove them... but not before checking some of those in the lead now about what their 'alterations' are... I hope this okay with everyone!
