You must choose a topic that is taboo. It can be lepers or people with other diseases, it can be gender bending (transvestites, homosexuals, cross dressers, etc.), it can be body modification (tattoos, piercings, branding), it can involve religious acts (snake handling, polygamy, worshiping cattle or rats, etc.), it could be lifestyles (tribal traditions, prostitution, living off the grid), or it could be an act (grave robbing, drinking blood, hitchhiking, etc.). Just pick a topic that is taboo.
Include an image to represent the taboo you choose. It should be a striking image that evokes question and empathy in the mind of the viewer.
Include two words/phrases to represent both sides of this taboo. For example, if you use body piercing as your taboo, your words would be "deformed or beautiful". The words should be as striking as possible and should, like the picture, make the viewer question their perceptions and notions about the taboo.
The goal is to make us all recognize that things are not always as we see them, that the world looks different through your neighbors eyes.
