there is another thread in this discussion forum about Scraplifting.

the basics that i use for myself is to use a particular layout for inspiration. not to copy it piece by piece, not to put elements and such in the exact same positions... but to look at the page (Anx's Buttons page for this challenge) and build your layout based on what you see there, what inspires you about it, etc. I just posted my page a few minutes ago.

Thanks for all your kind words, and thanks Kim for boosting my ego with this challenge, it makes me really happy to hear that you like my page. But I see a lot of talent here too, you have all made lovely pages and I've voted 10 chp for all of them. That was a great page to work from. It took me HOURS to settle on one interpretation of it. I'll probably "lift" a few more from the same design. ;-)

I have a hard time with layouts so this challenge was great for me. I think this is one of the best pages I have done. I hope you do a lot more of these type challenges. I need all the help I can get!
