I think what Kate is asking us to do is to "fill the frame" with your subject. The subject should also emote a sense of feeling. The icon that she has chosen for the Challenge is a good example. I hope this helps.

Yes it does but in rule 3 she states no background not even black or white!! Just a little confused about this rule as if she says no background then why are other pages got them!! Am i missing something here or just being dense...lol

I had the same problem and just kept referring to the Challenge requirements. But, I think it's helpful to be closer to your subject. I usually don't do this type of photography and was poring through my photos to find something suitable for the Challenge. The only downside was when I cropped the shot to 'fill the frame' it ultimately affected the quality of the photo:( So, I hope I've accomplished what Kate is looking for...

Ok so now I think we need to verify "background". The background of the photo? I know you can add a background like a paper etc. But sometimes its hard to take the background out of a photo LOL

I think it just means that the background of the photo is ok, you must fit the photo to fit the page, you dont have to cut the background out of the photo itself.

Look at "It's Me" by JED'A. or "Beautiful Eyes" by KimberlyRae. Those are just two examples.
