Yes, dear LoriARude1, it does! I know some of the pages were done during the 7-day wait time....so they might not have seen that part as I added it a few days before the challenge started. I was hoping they would have removed and redone....but it's a learning process for all of us ...so it was a slow beginning.

A wonderful idea for a challenge. It has brought out a lot of creativity, but it is dissapointing to see a challenge where the requirements are not being followed, and allowed to remain. It takes awake from the integrity of the challenge. All of the non conforming pages are beautiful, but none the less, rules should be adhered too. Have you asked these contributors to redo their work?

Bonnie~ thank you for enjoying the challenge........yes I have asked them to rework their pages. I was hoping they would remove and repost but Unfortunately, some did not remove them. I NEVER like removing any pages and perhaps that's why I don't have too many challenges..it gets too stressful for this ole lady. ox

Sorry, I now realize one of mine did not meet the requirements. And I am a firm believer in meeting the challenge requirements, guess I will put my excitement aside next time and pay closer attention !! LOL

Kimberly, I totally understand this. As you have probably noticed I very seldom do challenges anymore due to this same reason. I admire those who do them for us, and prefer to participate rather than administrate them. I too hated to have to remove pages that were so very beautiful, but unfortunately didnt follow guidelines.

Thank you, Ladies for your understanding...as you can see by some of the other posts I have some just do not understand...and it makes me not to even have another challenge. But as some challenge owners say 'rulz are rulz'!

*GLITCH I have Reported the color variation in uploading to flair hope to have an answer soon. I would think this glitch would have been made public so we ALL knew about it....but they might Not know so it's good to let flair know when you think there is a glitch in the system and all.

My background was white, it looked like a piece of old notebook paper, but it was white. Maybe all the blue I added to the page made it appear to have a bluish tint. Having my page deleted from this challenge sure opened my eyes about these challenges. Some people take this stuff way to seriously and they ruin all the fun. I join these challenges to have fun, and if my page doesnt conform to the rules of the challenge, then I have no problem with them being deleted, because I really dont care about winning, or expect to win any of them, since there are so many beautiful pages on this site. But when they get removed even when I follow all the rules, I think its just silliness.

I guess i am disappointed in this whole thing too. I was not asked to rework my page- so I did not know it was not considered acceptable. I still believe that it should have not have been excluded because mine was on a white background, (and it indeed appeared white upon uploading so i know it wasn't because of that). If it wasn't a large enough background, it would have been nice to know or have specific measurements of what a "background" is, especially if pages were deleted because of it.

The backgrounds look white to me. You know some people have the color settings on their computers set different than other people do. That could be what made them look bluish. I know for a fact it was probably the settings because I looked at it on my laptop and set the laptop rightnext to my desktop and the colors in everyones pages were very noticeably different. I can't believe a perfectly acceptable page was deleted because no one thought it might just be the difference in monitor settings. Even if LoriARude1 did re-add it now...she lost all those points and she had a good chance of winning to because hers was one of the best. I think I'm with her....no more challenges for me. I think I'm pulling my page from this challenge because quite honestly...a part of me believes that her page was pulled simply because she pointed out that the winning page didn't even follow the rules.

Everyone that submitted page in 'noncompliance' was Given a COURTESY Message (not Required of a challenge owner) and asked to Rework&Repost their page. It is solely up to the participant whether or Not to 'rework' their page(s) and repost. Some DID and a couple did not...Their Choice. I sent the COURTESY Message only FIVE DAYS after challenge Begins.... in plenty of time for ANYONE to repost and gain their points....None of these pages were to place ....at that point. From the time I sent the COURTESY Message there was still 15-days Left in the Challenge. That's LONGER then Most Challenges Last. As I Stated, previously...I do NOT like to pull anyone's page..I believe EVERY 'ACT' of ART is VALUABLE. Rules are Rules and what is FAIR for one is FAIR for ALL. Some are Understanding of this&Some are not. Since the Majority Attitude Here is More Possitive then what is Above--------> I Will Choose to Keep This Challenge Going. Here's to Happy SIGGY Creating!! KimberlyRae ox
