at first i thought it meant an overlay we created/designed ourselves - but reading it again im not sure. do you mean any overlay, even one made by someone else, as long as we credit the designer?

I think of an overlay like this: You have a background, a photo or some content, and then a design on top of that which 'lays' over everything else (usually like a border)...

I think your page is fine, but if you feel you would like to remove it yourself you can do so by clicking the little red x next to the challenge's name on the right hand side of your page (just something good to know for future reference as well, just be sure not to click it by accident like I did once, even if you reenter your page you can not get your challenge points back and people who voted for you before can not vote again.)

Thank you for the info, I would like to keep it here. How come me joining this group doesn't show in my "groups joined"section? Is it because this is specifically a challenge?

Right, when you look in the 'groups I've joined section' it's only going to show you groups and not challenges... you can see all the challenges you've ever entered (past, present & future) by going to the challenge page and clicking on 'view all challenges I've created or joined' at the bottom of the active challenges box.
