Ithink we are supposed to cut the shapes from the editing programme we have. I personally don't think it is fair to change embellishments etc for this challenge as we are asked to cut the shapes. On my page everything is created from shapes that I had in my programme. The bit at the top was done using the eraser tool and added shadow. I am not sure how everyone else has made their page? But I jsut went by the requirents. We are also not supossed to use text made from these papers asII understand it anyway x

I did what Meddy did, and cut/warped/filtered the papers by hand. I was under the impression that text was not allowed, but after rereading requirements, I think text can't be made from the papers.

wvscrapqueen - I am very interested in how you made the gromits and chain out of the paper required. I can't figure it out. Actually, I don't know how to make them at all and would be interested in how it is done.

Fancee Flair, This is how I did the grommets (I use Photoshop6): 1. I used the multicolored paper, and found yellow spot 2. Use the marquee tool to make a circle, which I copied and pasted in a new document. 3. Then, I but a bevel and emboss filter and an outer glow filter (changed to multiply and the color is black) 4. Use the marquee tool to make a smaller circle in the middle of the larger one and delete. 5. Save as png file. For the chain, it's basically the same as above, but a different shape. then use the eraser tool to erase one small section of one link. Then duplicate the layer (many times) and move each individual link to create the chain. Hope this helps! :)

OH! A couple more things: If you hold the shift key when making the circular marquee, you will get "perfect" circle. If you put your cursor in the middle of the large circle, and hold down alt and shift when you make your smaller circle, the circle will originate from the center instead of the corner.
I also used a different gloss coating (bevel and emboss filter option) to create the "metallic" look. :)
