cboo- sassafras tea for coughs

cookies- what we called "hot toddy" made from whiskey, rock candy and lemons for coughs.

Proud Grandma Dunham- cream, baking soda and vinegar for sunburn

KatlinsGrandma- Castor Oil for stomach ache

KatlinsMommy- oatmeal for bee stings

lilscrappydo- bay leaves to keep ants out.

Kaytill- Eat a Banana for "charlie horse" or leg cramps.

doodlebug- raw egg mixed with sugar and vanilla (my dad put mine in milk) to build strength or make you have strong blood (did they never hear of salmonella back then???)

deescraps- pine rosin (sap) for cuts.
