3. You may combine any of Ms. Parker's images in the Linkware section but Ms. Parker does NOT allow her art to be combined with the work of other artists....

So not sure if this requirement means backgrounds and elements....wont do my page until im sure!!! Im confused now too.

Kate did say to scrap a page so I think you can use elements etc but just not anyone else's artwork except Penny Parker art ~ I used a background mask in my page and a page from Penny's wild animals webset ~ which is the free link ware that is allowed to be used ~ it does say on her websit what can and can't be used...hope this helps someone...Jan

If we scrap a page, even with stuff that we make, that still not is her work... so I think that we can use kits or freebies. It wouldn't make sense not using "already made" kits but create stuff (or kits) ourselves, no? In both cases it would be "other's" work...
I may be wrong but I see it this way.

I would imagine we can add something otherwise our votes would be on what painting we like rather than the creativity of how we have displayed Penny Parker's Artwork.
If that is the case there would be no point in the challenge as we would just upload a picture?????

Well I read thru her web site, and if I remember correctly she said we could use them to scrapbook, don't quote me on this but I think that is what I read.
So I put a few things on my page, if it gets pulled then I will make another one without any goodies. I have to agree with Meddy that without anything but her art work then that is what everyone will be voting on. I guess we will have to wait and see. I'm going to go ahead and post mine and see what happens.

I went to her website and pulled up her TOU. The following is rule #4. ( 4. You are permitted to use the images for any personal hobby as long as they are not used on any products used for resale.) Hope this helps!

i'm so sorry i just got to go online now. most of you did get it right - you MUST scrap ms. parker's artwork so you can use elements from a kit (background, embellisments, frames), just NOT the artwork of other artists, e.g. jim warren or josephine wall, etc. you may even combine with your own personal photo though you have to be careful here in the sense that ms. parker's artwork should still be the main focus of your scrapbook. i hope you all have penny parker's name AND the link to her homepage in your scrapbook.

in the linkware websets section, you will find several categories - angels, religious, floral, children, people, fantasy, scenery, birds, wildlife, cute animals, miscellaneous - you can use any image you find in these categories, but NOT from other sections of her homepage - NOT from her art gallery (open edition, limited edition, etc.). i hope this answers your questions. pls. follow requirements as i will pull out pages that don't conform before the end of the challenge. i think some may not have the link to her page and her name for example - pls. put even in fine print. thank you all for your fantastic pages, do keep 'em coming! warm hugs - kate
