Hello! And thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. Unfortunately, noone can tell how many votes any one page will recieve, so we just have to accept the peoples vote counts as accurate. I am also surprised that this page didn't win, as I recognise that it indeed was in first place most of the time. As to soliciting votes, it is a matter hotly up for debate here on SBF. I have only done it the one time, and have been slammed from many for it. Although to be fair to myself, I did check out the rules, and Raeanne said we SHOULD ask our friends to vote on our pages. (see forums) Also, I don't feel its any more or less "unfair" than asking other people to scrap your wedding or kids fotos. However, I do appreciate the viewpoint of others, and agree wholeheartedly. If a person thinks its unfair, then just ignore the request. I too have recieved requests for votes. However I try to base my decision on whether or not to vote for pages based on the merit of the page in question!
