I joined this challenge to show that there are many soldiers from our small countries Down Under that is Australia and New Zealand that are away in the USA, Iraq, etc helping to fight for freedom for those countries. 4 Australian soldiers have been killed just over the last couple of weeks and there is a lot of anger against our Government, who of course are the ones who deploy the troops, as I understand it is for everyone's country. I hope no one takes these comments in any way as a criticism of their country...Hugs Jan

i am trying to do a page about an email i got about the troops hopefully i can do it soon so you can have a look at it..it had me in tears.
my hubby is in the oz army so are 3 out of 4 of my kids godparents the 4th is in the navy...nearly all our friends are in the defence force. my hubby has been to iraq thankfully for only 3 months and i cant imagine how the american troops ( AND WIVES DO IT )
may they ALL come home soon

Thank you for your post Jan. Sometimes I think people only think there are soldiers from USA over there, but in fact there are many many soldiers from many countries fighting. Right now we got a lot of Danish soldiers in Afganistan and it's very very dangerous there right now and we lost 4 young brave men the last weeks.
I hate war and I hate fanatism. We will never be able to teach those countries how we think they shall live, it's an endless war and so many innocent people are going to die for what ??
