Halloween has won out in the US. I remember the tradition of All Saints Day (Nov. 1) as being a time for honoring those who had died. And yes, Halloween is All Saints Evening mommykitty; I'm sure you're right though that not many people know this. It is such a shame that our holy days are turning into a time to sell, sell, sell; when people just want more, more, more. Sometimes I'm not sure that commerce is worth it all.
So sorry to get on my soapbox, but that's just the way I see it.

Here in Holland there is not really a celebration to honor the dead or something like halloween so its a lot of fun to participate in a challenge what does have something like this, the way i see this celebration is more like a passionet celebration and a way of comfort to never really lose your loved ones.
