I'm with you cboo ! lol But seriously, it takes me a little longer to catch on because I had a stroke 4 years ago and my brain works a little slower. That's why I love digital scrapbooking, there's no end to the times you can "do over" without ruining your pictures. I'll give it a shot !

This is going to be lots of fun. I would like to know (since it wasn't specified) if we can use templates from the program downloads. All I saw mentioned was backgrounds and embellishments and the specific designer items. If not, then should I assume that we are to create our pages wihtout the use of templates? Some of us "newer" scrappers need all the help we can get. LOL

hahaha Claudia, I guess you can... coz I've done my pages using photoshop :p What you can't do with PS, you can't lower the opacity, can't adjust the brightness (which would change the color hahaha)

Do embellishments come with the sets? Or do we use them from the 4 designer series you mentioned?

All that comes with the sets is 3 backgrounds per group, you choose one or all to do ONE page PER GROUP, you use the embellishments from flairs downloads or the four mentioned designer collections, all embellishments must be used as is, no rotating, no coloring of any kind.
No other graphics or embellishments can be used.

yes you can do this, cause the ones that use the flair program only can also do this. Well cboo I hope the internet is full cause it has eaten enough of my emails in the last few days, LOL. Some are getting just one and I have been sending 2 to everyone. So for you to post twice is OK, LOL. It has been a rollercoaster here and somehow I don not remember buying a ticket for this ride, hee hee, gotta love it tho.

Hey Mom, this is such a great challenge. Yes, it is a lot, ok a ton, of rules, but it does put everyone on the same level. For those of us who use photo or other scrapbook programs, now we have absolutely no advantage over those who are using the scrapbook flair program where you can only use what you are given, without rotating, etc. Excellent idea. This will surely make everyone test their creativity! Why didn't I come up with this??? LOL

I haven't downloaded the SF software. Where do I get the graphics you listed? I'm not seeing it in the plain ole regular download area.

ok basically no shadows, what we are trying to do is this, if it can not be done in the flair program you can't do it. Some only have the flair program so that is why we are trying to keep it fair for all, so fonts yep cause you can do fonts in the flair program, shadows, nope.

Backgrounds in the designer collections mentioned can be used but remember you have to use ONE from one of the background folders you were sent, so if you choose the blues folder you have to use one of those 3 and then anything from the rest of the graphics allowed. So remember, if the flair program can not do it you can't.

OK now I know I am probably going to see my funeral arrangements being made, LOL. Ok at least make' em nice guys!!!

I was looking at the gfx pkgs, & they're really not my style. Cute, but not really me.

Well I guess all my pages will be disqualified, as it didn't say in the rules you had to use the sf software, and I did mine in pse 5.0, and previously it didn't say no shadows or bevels. But I will post them anyway and get disqualified, cause I'm not redoing them, cause I don't have time.

No you are right I didn't say that, so we will let all shadows and bevels go ahead and go, that is my fault, so as long as you stuck with the graphics stated and the backgrounds and the no rotating we will go good this time for all. The ones that don't have shadows or bevels everyone just give a good vote anyhow, cause I know everyone here is fair and good people. How does that sound to everyone, still trying to be fair and it was not stated about shadows in the rules. If everyone is good with this then it is fine. This is the first Challenge of this kind so we will all learn. So if you have done the shadows and bevels let it go you will not be disqualified for that.

Thank You guys for all your prayer, cause I know that is what stopped this last storm from getting us. It warmed up more than they thought so we got a little sleet and rain. The rain is helping to melt the rest of the ice.
