I agree with all the comments that this should all be kept friendly ~ I enjoy participating in the challenges on here ~ but to say something in Cindee's defence, it does state on the challenge that the SBF Gotcha logo has to be used on the page ~ when I read that I immediately checked out the Winter downloads on SBF and it was there ~ it would be so disappointing to find out that people weren't treating these challenges as fun....hugs to all....

I didn't know there was such a thing called SBF logo. Cindee is fairly new here so I suspect someone attacked her and she was trying to make it right. she didn't change the rule, i know that for a fact coz i had to read the description/requirements a few times before i made my first page and again before i posted coz i wanted to make sure it didn't specify how many people i can hit. it did say to use the logo. i got confused about the logo later when cindee herself used different ones. but i think she had intended to let all pass then decided it would be fairer to stick to the rules.

similarly i made a judgment call in the scrap a scrapper challenge, i decided not to remove those that didn't meet the requirement of big, clear photos because people were having so much fun. some will say i'm wrong and some will say i'm right. but, the point is we don't always make the right judgment and decisions. some bad judgment could hurt, like we hurt coz we wasted a lot of time, but the pain we feel could not be the same as the emotional pain that the person who made a mistake feels when she's publicly condemned.

i feel for cindee. i hope that if and when i do make a mistake, i see guiding hands and even direct reprimands rather than a bashing. it would have been different if cindee did this to spite us. but i think it was an honest mistake. i think those who know better should have been kinder and promoted the spirit of friendship. i loved that challenge, it made me laugh a lot - a rare commodity for me these days. that was my reward for the time i "wasted."
