RAK to me has always been Random Acts of Kindness so maybe a RAK photo could be a photo you scrap for someone??? Otherwise I have no idea either.

April is pretty much right in her answer. Many people who are CT's for several designers use photos provided by other CT members and they use the term that the photos are RAK, so that is why I include these photos in challenge requirements. I know a lot of the CT's use these challenges to give them inspiration for their layouts.
