Type in your word. Now place your picture over the top of the word your just typed and adjust the size of your picture (without altering the constraints) so that it fits the size of your lettering. Hold down on the ctrl button and hit the "g" button and voila, it will cut your photo to the word. Now you can save your word because it is on a transparent background and use it in PSE or another editing program to create your scrap. Hope this helps.
