Harley's story

From Debbie's Facebook wall:
"Harley was found outside, hungry and unable to walk on one of his rear legs. A rescuer was able to trap him and get him to the vet. It was found that he had an infected abscess on his paw as well as some already healing wounds on his body. He was given an antibiotic and the abscess is healing. He had it very rough outside since he had no idea how to survive.
"He loves pets and belly rubs and will let you know when he wants more. He's about 2 or 3 years old and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He has been neutered and is up to date with routine shots. He does have a hematoma on his left ear so it flaps over giving him even more character. It does not cause him any pain or discomfort."
Harley is being fostered in Woodbridge, NJ. We can arrange a "meet and greet" if an interested party isn't in the immediately local area.
Visit my blog (link on my homepage here) and click on the Angel PAWS link in the right sidebar to find my post about him - a video that Deb made is posted there; please feel free to crosspost or point people to the post on my blog. And encourage YOUR friends to repost Harley's story on their blogs or FB pages, or at least post about him with a link to your or my posts.
I'm hoping that, by providing this exposure, we'll end up with someone who knows someone who knows someone else who lives (practically) down the street from Debbie and is looking for an only cat. I'd like to see the power of social networking do its thing and find this sweet guy a home. Thank you all SO much!!

Carol, I'm delighted you are going ahead with this challenge, let's hope we get Harley as much airtime as possible and, most importantly, let's do our best to find him a lovely home where he can be King Cat. The photos are beautiful and it will be a pleasure to scrap Harley! Please feel free to use my pages of him in any way you want and the same applies to anyone else who has blogs or alternative sites at which to post his story. I don't have a blog or anywhere else I can post my pages so if anyone wants to use them on their own sites, please feel free to do so, further permission isn't required, just please credit any sites or kits I have used, thank you. He's such a darling, let's put the power of SBF and the internet behind him and find this little fella a wonderful home! Pauline xx
