It depends on whether I am trying to learn a new technique or using skills I am already comfortable with. I will often work on something, save it, and come back to it after I have had time to mull it over (sometimes days). Working with kits definitely speeds things up! With a kit I can whip(?) a page out in just a couple of hours. I just recently acquired Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 and have spent a LOT of time just playing and getting to know how to use it; and I am trying now to make my own papers. It has definitely slowed me down, but it's a great feeling of pride to be able to say I DID IT!!!

I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 and the workbook time is a factor for me. I'm a mother, work full time and go to school full time. I think I take on too many tasks at once but it keeps the old brain active. Once I finish classes I may take a Photoshop class. One can spend many hours and not realize it sitting in front of the computer. I know because I do it everyday and wonder why I'm so tired and never get anything done.

Ditto Davina!! I get nothing done once im scrapping...This was my very first digital page, I only use photoshop and make all my own papers and elements ect so it takes me forever ! I work and have a 4 year old and can only sit here a couple of hours a night , so a page usually takes me days if not a week , I have sooo much to learn though. My hardest task is getting that real scrappy feel...heres to many more hours trying!!
