So far they are all fantastic, I think it will be quite a large book as I don't think I am going to leave any out. So keep scrapping please. And don't shy away from using the ones showing his bandage on his face. all part of his life.
btw: his reconstruction date is set for 20th April, so he won't have that bandage anymore thank goodness.

He is having the full reconstruction on his face, making the eye socket and nose wall along with skin graft over it, not sure if they will make the eyelids there and then or wait until graft is settled before they do that. It's amazing what they can do, he will even be able to have eyelashes again as they can graft them in later. He's looking forward to being 'normal' but with trepidation over the actual operation. He should be in hospital for 7-10 days and then about 6 wks of recovery afterward (I think). So much is still uncertain but at least we are going ahead.

No worries Lins, his cancer is in remission and thats good news. Once this op is over at least he can lead a more normal life and do things he can't do now, like go swimming and surfing in the summer, which he has really missed.
