Author milliec says: You can pick an image to extract, extract it and take the smudge tool an smudge the entire area...it ends up looking like the image was painted instead of photographed. But, you have to be detailed. Make the smudge brush not too thick, not too thing. If you're doing something like hair or fur, you want to make the brush small. And, pay attention to shadowing. I was doing this tonight and I turned a photo of a bunny into a painting of a bunny. These elements are acceptable too. Dec 29, 2010
