share traditions

Hello, I have been blessed with some beautiful grandchildren. I started doing the turkey hands each year for thanksgiving with tracing the hands and having them decorate them like turkeys. They love it! Does anyone have any traditions or things they do with their grandchildren or children that they would like to share with me for some ideas that I could steal? I am interested in any holidays or events. Thanks!

Hello, every Thanksgiving we go around the room and tell why we are thankful this year. I posted what I'm thankful for this year in my challenge scrapbook. Although I do not have a picture or embelishment of a turkey, so I think that disqualifies me, but I wanted to share what I am so thankful for this year. It brings joy to my heart to hear what my children are thankful for and to know that I'm passing a family tradition on to them.

This year, my 3-year-old daughter started to ask me about Thanksgiving. I searched on Internet and found all information about Thanksgiving and made a 6-page scrapbook about Thanksgiving together with her. She got really impressed and kept trying to tell others about the story. It is so amazing to see a child growing up.
