My Daily Rambelings
Another September Morning Here in Asia , well it really is Sept 2,2008 7:36 A.M.

Being that I am in The Philippines I shall let you know I am Well into Tuesday Sept, 2 2008 ....
And I am here again with more rambeling....Perhaps I have just been recovering from Bloggers* block for the past couple of months , nearly a year. Now I am sparked up and ready to try again. Today I ask of all who read through this my daily Rambelings to please give a moment of silence for all who have and shall be in the path of Gustav for I have just read that hundreds of thousands are fleeing Gustav's path~ Thankyou~. Since returning back to Manila I promised myself a short diet, excercise ect..ect.. well Haven't missed a day of not exercising and haven't cheated on my diet ONCE because it never got started! Not one little Hot Tamale has touched these lips. Not one little Sour Patch Kid has plunged to his death down my throat, simply because you cannot find them here in the Philippines. I'm thinking of attempting to start next week. I actually really enjoy exercising once I get started ... I shall keep you posted on. :-). I have really noticed as of late that In this day and age as we strive to survive this commercialized society, is there any part of the spiritual path that is more difficult to practice than simplicity? The noisy-ness of our world can make it incredibly difficult to find a place where you can live with less, quite your monkey mind, and leave a smaller footprint on our good, earthy Mother. That's why I'm so thankful for SBF here is where I find friends, kind words and a place to mentally shut off the world outside. And also I place a question out there to whoever reads this be it the living or the dead :-)
~Is there an expiration date on wishes? For instance, if I wish on a star tonight, at what point do I write off the wish as not coming true? One week? One month? A couple of years? And, if by chance, that wish does come true say... five years down the road, do I believe that it was simply delayed wish grantification and that the two events (the wish and the fulfillment) are entirely connected? I mean, if you believe in wishes at all. MmMMmmmmm... makes you wonder , Right?
~ Well I am off to SBF Challenge page see whats new today, I have been here at SBF a lil over a year and still loving it so much. I honestly believe we just have ALL the best people of our Planet Earth right here on SBF... I Really Do. :-) Have a Great Day!

Now that I am back in Manila I have time from the daily " have to do chores " ~ and have finally started to pay attention to The Presidential Canidates . . . Is there any doubt that Barack Obama is the best public speaker alive? This man could have stand up there and read Ziggy comic strips and it still would be captivating.I’ve held my tongue for a long time on Obama, because I’m always skeptical of getting caught up in hype, but you know what? I’m ready to get caught up in this. This is a John F. Kennedy style candidate, and I’m going to ignore the cynics and enjoy this great moment in history from afar. Well it's Sept I am back in the Philippines life is slow here compared to the state side living styles...a lot more R E L A X E D here. I will most likely not get on here daily.... gonna see how it goes never Blogged before so ....LOL I just looked and relized that I attempted to start a Blog almost a year ago.... Yup let us see how this one goes. |
