Had a thought....

Is there anyone out there interested in designing digital ATC's (Artist Trading Cards)? Might make a new challenge. What do you think? Please, send me your thoughts.

Can you believe?!!
|
Where has this past year gone? Between my painting (I'm a semi-professional artist) digi-scrapping and now hand-made greeting cards, I am keeping so-o-o busy! Still living here in cold northern WI with my dear husband of 48+ years, 2 cats and 1 very nice dog. He makes wonderful wood carvings (my husband, not the dog) and I am so proud of his accomplishments. We really are enjoying our retirement years even though our plans to travel kind of fell through, home isn't so bad when you are surrounded by family and friends and lots of love! I have just finished the wedding album for my granddaughter and will be giving it as a Christms gift. Haven't posted all the pages on SBF as yet. Hope all of you are looking forward to having a very Merry Christmas. Blessings to you all.

Hopefully the winter blahs have left with the snow and I can find some new energy and inspiration to get back to scrapping again. Have been keeping very busy with paper crafting and card making in spare time so these hands have not been idle! Now that we can shed boots and mittens, am anxious to get out with digital camera and start shooting the awakening spring as it unfolds around us....can't wait for GREEN! Would like to hear what things help get you "jump-started"?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
|
Have been just too busy with hand-made Christmas gifts to do any scrapping these days. Haven't finished decorating, not even started the baking! As usual, it's going to be a mad dash for the finish line again this year. But, staying true to our family tradition, "if you don't make it----we can't take it!" Gifts from the heart are so much nicer, don't you think? I hate the commercialism that comes with the season anyway. Christmas songs were being played at WalMart before Thanksgiving! For Pete's Sake, can't we celebrate one holiday at a time?!! It's all about the $$$$$, I know..... Well, got that off my chest and now I feel better. See ya all back here next year. Get lots of photos to scrap for after the celebrating is over....we'll need something to do to keep busy for the rest of the long, cold winter! At least we have snow on the ground right now...white Christmas's are so nice; why else do we live in WI?? Just went out to re-fill the bird feeders, and the snow was to the top of my boots! OOPS! Have a beautiful pair of Cardinals feeding here along with one woodpecker, a couple blue jays, chickadees, etc. I love watching them; so do my 2 cats! Time to get back to my projects....enjoy the season, family, friends, traditions, activities, food, music, and everything else that goes on this time of year.
