Title: AND YOUR MEMORY GOES ON
Post Text No matter how many years You have been gone. Your memories to me Will continue to linger on. Through the years, Until the end of my time. Your memory my dear Will be on my mind. We all have to part at sometime, This I know. But a little too soon That man caused you to go. A Grandmother, now you would be, With four little ones To add to our family tree. Jordyn, a lively, Very active little boy. And our Precious Diane, Both give us much joy. Then Kathy married Marcus With a child of his own, so that made three Then she gave birth to Nathan Who is cute as can be. I know you would be proud As all the rest of us. With oughing and awing And making a fuss. So your memory goes on, As one can easily see. Your children, having children Adding to our Family Tree. We miss you Diane, Love, Mother By Louise Alley March 15, 2003. Revised August 25 2009
When our daughter was killed in a car wreck in 1996, I started writing poems, a type of therapy I suppose. Well actually I had written a few before then, but many I didn't think to keep and boy am I sorry about that now. Any way I decided to post them here to share.
