Title: PICTURES
Post Text I look at your pictures And what do I see? Your beautiful face Looking back at me. Your eyes that are glowing Your hair looks a lot like mine . A nose that looks like your dads. With lips sweet as any wine. I think of the pleasure you brought me, my child. Which were given to me For such a short while. But now all those pictures With your memories so good. I would gladly trade places, If only I could. By Louise Alley March 16, 2002
When our daughter was killed in a car wreck in 1996, I started writing poems, a type of therapy I suppose. Well actually I had written a few before then, but many I didn't think to keep and boy am I sorry about that now. Any way I decided to post them here to share.
