When I was young, I prayed to our Father above To give me someone that would be easy to Love. God answered that prayer as you can see, That kind wonderful man is my Sweet Lee. It gives me a thrill when I hold his hand, His is such a wonderful, kind and gentle man. I smile when I see him walking towards me, And he always smiles back so tenderly. We have our differences, there is no doubt, But nothing our Love hasn't helped us work out. Many trials during our marriage we have had, And a lot of our life has really been sad. He use to treasure hunt in his spare time, It would give him a thrill to dig up a penny, nickle or dime. He loves to read and listen to Mozart, He has strong hands and a big soft heart. An auto mechanic is his life's trade, But he wishes in school he had stayed. God blessed us with three children, two girls and a boy, Being a father has been his great job. He was so proud a grandfather to be, Five grandchildren to add to our family tree. I'm so happy God gave him to me, The LOVE OF MY LIFE my SWEET LEE.
