Title: "Robert"
Post Text Robert oh Robert our only boy, So proud of him, our great job. In all the sports he was the best, And without studying, he passed all his tests. He is an artist is so many ways, But in his room, he chooses to stay. Our sweet little boy where did you go, I Love him so much, I want him to know. It breaks my heart to see him wasting his life, Never any children, never a wife. He is no longer a child, he is now a man, I wish I could hug him and hold his hand. "God please heal his mind" is what I pray, I know it will be done one of these days. By Louise Alley June 27, 1996 Robert got alcohol poisoning at the age of 15 which cause irreversible brain damage which caused schizophrenia and agoraphobia,(he refused to take medication) so he doesn't get out much at all. Robert is now 47.
When our daughter was killed in a car wreck in 1996, I started writing poems, a type of therapy I suppose. Well actually I had written a few before then, but many I didn't think to keep and boy am I sorry about that now. Any way I decided to post them here to share.
