I too prefer to create from scratch. I have never considered myself very creative so this is fun. I have yet to make what I feel is stunning though. Your are really great. |

| Am enjoying your blog. I only just found them and how to do it so had a go myself. I like to read about other peoples lives and doings and scrapping. comes from living in a quiet community where the most exciting thing to happen is the veg van to drop by and the bread man. |

LOL...Carola...that sounds so like me...but I cleaned out the kids rooms this moring...so I am not that bad today...as much as I hate cleaning..I love everything to be clean and in order..
All my family lives far from me, so pictures are very important to me too...but most of my family doesn't understand the time that goes into it all either...but I don't really care much about that as I mostly do it to please myself and hope that my kids will appreciate my pages and pictures one day ....actually Selin cares a lot about it all too and wants to make some pages herself..hopefully pretty soon...she's a very creative girl..:-)
BTW..they are back home now..:-)..but sleeping LOL... |

I know a lot of people, especially relatives who live far away, appreciate the pictures I take and post, but it sure is nice to hear it from someone who actually understands the work that goes into it. Its funny, I love working with pictures and you couldn't get me to stop for anything, but it takes a lot of time!
You know, I'm being "bad" today, also. I should be cleaning house, but I would much rather catch up on my pictures! |

| LOl...I am sure lots of people appreciate your pictures...they maybe just didn't tell you yet...Really they are wonderful...wish I had so many nice ones....I love playing with pictures, but don't think I am a really good photographer, my husbands takes bette pics for sure..:-) |

Thanks so much - it is so nice to have someone who actually does this stuff (Photoshop work) appreciate my pics! It's funny, I have to go half way around the world to find someone who shares my interest:)

LOL Carola, that sounds like me...I am so in love with scrapbooking, making pages aswell as looking at what others did come up with that I often sit up late too.....Goodnight, hope you don't have to wake up to early....
Thank you for your kind words about my pages, the heritages ones are my favorietes, really like to do them, as I really feel I am preserving them for the future, it's so great to have the name of the ancestor on the page...I have lots of pictures that I still have to scan, in the meantime I do some more recent pictures, that's fun too, and often a great gift...:-)
My kids are big animal lovers too...as am I :-)) Selin has been willing to make some pages herself ( I helped her with the kitten one), but I've been occupying the computer since I found this great site LOL...think it's time for one more compute at our house..:-))

I was looking at Selins' 1st page (kittens) last night and my son (Ian, 2yrs old) commented on the "kitties". He just loves animals! I really look forward to your new pages - I am newly into the heritage thing - your pages keep me on track, not too much cutesy stuff, just photoshop elements. You know something, I am totally rambling here - it's 2:30 AM time to get back to sleep!

We're living in Mersin, which is on the Mediterranean sea...I love it here...we're 3 years here now, was something to get the kids used to yet anoter country, language and culture, but we all got used to it now....we lived for years on and off in Belgium ( Antwerp) and the U.A.E (Abu Dhabi)...we moved back and forth.....we're planning on staying here now though...have enough of all the travelling...kids are growing up too and especially Selin who's now 14,5, wouldn't want to move anymore....understandable...it's over and over again leaving friends behind.... |
