I remember those days when I was young & feeling everything you described. The only thing different was I was wondering if it was going to be a nice Christmas day since my father often ruined it after drinking. I was always anxious & nervous before Christmas because of that. I love your old photo & how beautifully you embellished it! I see a German Shepherd (I think you know I adopted my 1st)???
