When I was cleaning my bookshelves, I also stumbled upon some old McCall's dress patterns and decided that these girls needed to have an updated adventure. It's exhausting having to stay on the cover of a dress pattern for so many years, without any break for tea and cupcakes. Enjoy your party, lovely girls!

I used a variety of kits by Kitten Chen (Kitty Designs), available at Oscraps. I've come to adore her work. Also used a few elements by Lily Designs. Page No. 2 is the closeup version of the layout, before background elements. And Page 3 is my scan of the dress pattern cover. I think these girls are probably straight out of the 1960's. Enlarge view for a better look at the details.

What fun! Great pages that bring back memories. My mom wall papered my closet in the early 60's with pages from the McCall, Simplicity and butterick pattern books. beautifully scrapped!!
