For Joce's ' Alphabet Challenge U'. As my heritage is Ukrainian & Polish I thought I should be able to make a page. Done before start of challenge, but due unforeseen circumstances - just uploading now.
Main focus: Ukrainian couple masked
Elements:
** Uzvar is traditional Ukrainian drink of choice particularly at Christmas
** Ukrainian painted eggs
** Ukrainian Flag. (I have inserted my letter 'U' within the Flag.

This is really a great, artistic page for the challenge Mimi!!! Wonderfully creative and clever but it is something I should have thought of as well. Just couldn't find the time. My paternal ancestors are from Russia & I am so familiar with the location & I grew up learning how & making those beautiful Ukrainian painted eggs with the wax & process way of doing it so we have something in common!!!
