I have decided I must be in a slightly dark place at the moment. This is the 2nd dark page I have created this week. When I 1st looked at this image of Neeltje's I thought of a desolate alien landscape. Then I changed the colours which seemed to enhance that feeling. One of my old dear friends lost her daughter last week to cancer. Dear Cathy grew up with my kids during their school years.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend's daughter. Life seems very unfair sometimes. Your page to me depicts the sadness and gloom that surrounds the grief. It is a wonderful page even though there is such sadness behind it.

Your dark place could also explain the surreal challenge too...which, this page is as well. I'm so sorry you are in a dark place. We all hit that place sometimes, more for others. I can't imagine losing a child...children should never go before their children. Hang in there and we love you! This is a fantastic page btw...some of the best artists were in their dark place...
